Range and technical pages editors can update without waiting on a developer

A front end that stays readable on a warehouse tablet as well as a desktop

About Tubefit

  • Tubefit is an Australian fittings brand. The site exists so installers and buyers can find the right range, not so marketing can publish a mood board.
  • Product photography, specs, and stocked ranges have to live in the same WordPress surface.
  • A product site fails when every SKU becomes a hand-built page. The work was to make the catalogue honest in the CMS.
  • This page is the product-site story inside the wider plumbing-platform work.

Project overview

Tubefit needed WordPress that matched how fittings are sold: clear ranges, technical detail, and pages someone in the business can keep current.

I built the product site around that catalogue u2014 templates and fields for ranges, not a generic blog stretched over SKUs.

Project goals

01

Give each range a WordPress home that still belongs to the wider catalogue.

02

Keep technical pages editable by the people who know the product.

03

Ship a front end that holds up on a phone, a desktop, and a warehouse tablet.

Client's words

The product site finally matches how we sell fittings: clear ranges, technical pages editors can update, and a front end that holds up on a warehouse tablet.
